Baobab (Extract Pulp)

This extract is a gel obtained from the pulp of the baobab fruit. It is very rich in alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA), molecules that mitigate deficiencies of the skin by decreasing the thickness of the stratum corneum. Moreover, keratolytic and astringent properties of AHA gives a tightening effect and a moisturizing activity in this extract. Moreover, its high content of sugars, natural constituents of Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF), allows maintenance of the water within the stratum corneum. Thus, Baobab pulp extract allows both to smooth wrinkles and restore the natural water flow of the skin.
