Fern Mer (Seaweed Extract)

It is a whitening agent (in vivo), which also contributes to reduce the size of spots (in vivo): it controls the number, size and maturation of melanosomes (in vitro), inhibits activation of melanogenesis by endothelin (in vitro) and activation of tyrosinase by the MITF gene (in vitro), as well as the expression of genes involved in the migration, production and export of the melanin (in vitro).
