Phytosterols Extracted From Soya

These Phytosterols are lipids extracted from soy. Structure similar to skin lipids, they biomimetic properties to strengthen the barrier function of the skin. These are major components of cement lipids of the stratum corneum. Additionally, phytosterols have anti-inflammatory and soothing because they help limit the action of leukotrienes (lipids that play a key role in the inflammation process) and stabilize the cell membrane. Finally, they help reduce the insensible water loss (IWL) and provide protection against environmental aggressions.
